If you’re subscribed to one of our Enterprise offerings, chances are you are now using our Pro Share feature which enables you to track your social post analytics.
Pro Share works a little differently than our old sharing system, but it’s perfect for anyone who shares to a business based social media platform.
Create your image or video using our freeform tools, or use the quick share option like I am here. The first time you go to share your content, you’ll be brought to this page and you’ll see the “Manage Channels” button. Tap on that button and you’ll be taken to create your pro share account. Now I already have an account, but it’s very easy to set up.
After the account is created, you’ll be shown all the various icons for accounts you can connect. Remember, you must have a business profile on those platforms to be able to connect your account. For example, a business page linked to your personal account on FB, or a “professional account” on Instagram. This is so you can view your analytics such as views, likes, comments, etc in your Photofy Profile Dashboard.
Simply tap on the platform and log in with your account details. You’ll confirm your business page, and see a confirmation when successfully connected. You’ll do the same for each platform, and when you’re ready, go back to Photofy to share to your newly connected accounts.
Once on the sharing page, you can use the switch to choose which platforms to share to, enter your caption, Share immediately, or schedule a time to share the post. We’ll expand on sharing in another video.
To share to Facebook messenger, by text or ecard, tap on the “Share options” drop down. No analytics will be tracked here.
And, If you don’t have business accounts, you can still share your content directly from Photofy, just tap on the “more Share Options” link to share using the apps installed on your device. Keep in mind that social analytics can not be tracked on these options either.. For a deeper discussion on personal share options, check out our tutorial on our support page.
